Games and Sports

The school has well maintained playgrounds and all facilities for the promotion of Badminton, Kho-Kho, Volley Ball, Cricket, Basket Ball, Footbal etc. Inter house and open competitions are organised regularly under the guidance of expert trainers and coaches. KVS Regional Sports Meet in Wrestling, Boxing & Weight Lifting(Boys) was conducted in Vidyalaya from 11-09-04 to 14-09-04. Bikramjit Singh (XII Science) and Baldeep Singh (VIII) participated in the 35th KV National Swimming Competition 2004. Bikramjit Singh bagged III posoition in 400 mtr. free style and was honoured with Bronze Medal.

House System

The students are grouped into four houses. To ensure all round development of children Inter House competitions in various activities like Declamation, Poem-Recitation, Extempore Speech, Calligraphy, Quiz Competition, Group Singing, Dancing etc. are organised from time to time.

Scouts and Guides Activities

The school has always been an active participant in scouts and guide activities. At present 100 scouts and guides, cubs and bulbuls are registered in the vidyalaya.

Computer Aided Teaching Learning

The school has a well equipped computer lab where students have opportunities to learn and use computers through expert and well qualified teachers.

School Library

To inculcate among students a habit of regular reading, the school is running a rich library. At present there are about 3500 books on all subjects apart from various magazines and journals. Students can get the books of their taste and need from time to time.

Value Education

To inculcate moral values in the young minds programmes, exhibitions, lectures and speeches by teachers and educationists are organised from time to time.

Counselling

The counselling wing is also functioning in the Vidyalaya. Special talks are organised for the benefit of students.

Promotion of Hobbies and Talents

To promote Games, Sports, Music, Dance and talents of the students, hobby classes are organised three days a week. Expert teachers are engaged as per KVS rules to conduct such classes.

Vidyalaya Patrika

The Vidyalaya publishes its Patrika 'VIJETA' annually to encourage creativity among the young artists and high light its achievements.

Medical Checkup

The Vidyalaya arranges compulsory regular Medical Check-up of the students twice a year. The report is sent to the parents.
