41 REGIONAL SPORTS MEET
41 Regional Sports Meet (Girls) was held
successfully in Kendriya Vidyalaya 3 Amritsar w.e.f. 25-08-2010 to 28-08-2010.
Around 300 students of various school from Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and
Punjab were participated for Kabaddi, Judo ,Skating, Handball and taekowando.
Mrs Anjali Dwivedi W/O Brig R C Dwivedi Commder 54 Bgde & Chairman KV3 was the
chief guest of the closing ceremony. Capt NirmalJeet Singh (Nominee Chairman) of
the Vidyalaya is also present in the Closing ceremony. Mr A S Gill (Principal K
V 3) welcomed the Chief Guest, Nominee Chairman and Escorts. In the Final Match
of Kabaddi, KV3 Amritsar beat KV 1 Adampur by 88 – 16 and bagged the first
position. In the Other event hand ball KV4 Jalandhar beat KV3 Amritsar and
bagged first position. Gold , Silver and Bronze medals along with certificates
were given by Chief Guest. Cultural programme by students were being organized.
Inter House Painting Competition and Display Board Competition was held on 03-07-2010.

Christmas was celebrated in the Vidyalaya on 25-12-09.
During Winter Break , Special Classes were taken by the subject teachers from 23rd to 26th Dec.
On 19-12-09 Community Lunch and Picnic was organized in Primary Wing.

The inaugural ceremony of the sports meet was held on 4/11/09
40th KVS Regional Sports Meet in
Roller skating, kabaddi and judo was closed by Sh Kabul Singh Aulakh. He is renowned sports promotor, president of good will club and chairman of Pritam sports academy, kohali .In the tournament, KV3 Amritsar became the champion by getting 1st position in kabaddi, judo and 2nd position in skating. KV (DBN) was the runner up for judo. In skating KV1 Jammu remained first.
On 11/11/09 National Education Day
Was celebrated in the vidyalaya in the sweet memory of Maulana Abdul Kalaam Azad. The program begin with the lightening of lamp by the worthy principal sir and the staff members lectures on the life history of Maulana Azad were delieverd cultural program was organised by the student .Worthy principal sir highlighted Maulana Kalam Azad’s contribution to the nation in the field of education

Bal Diwas was celebrated in the vidyalaya on 16/11/09 at the Cluster level with great pomp and show student of KV No1 Asr , KV No3 Amritsar and KV(DBN) shilar participated in 5 different competitions
1. Drawing
2. Painting
3. Rangoli Making
4. English poem recitation
5. Hindi skit
Well prepared participants came forward with great enthusiasm
to show their talent.
KV3 Bagged 1st prize in eng poem recitation , drawing and painting and stood second in Hindi skit and Rangoli.
Rahul kumar of class XI of our vidyalaya was selected to attend the 15 days national volleyball camp (under-18) at merrut from Nov 28 . At the camp , the national team would be selected to play against Sri Lanka
Sandeep Singh stood II place in Jammu Region in 12th KVS JUNIOR MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD 2009 Organized By KVS and 181 Place in the LIST OF 545 TOPPERS FOR MERIT CERTIFICATES
3 Days In service Course for Music Teachers WET , Drawing Teachers and Yoga Teachers w.e.f. 18-09-09 to 20-09-09 was successfully completed.
On 25-08-09 Plantation was done by NCC troups and Scouts & Guides.
After Summer Vacation, Session starts and Principal addressed the assembly and welcome to all the
students.
KVites Amritsar again produced excellent result in Borad Examinations :
X 100% and XII 95%
On 01-04-09 Principal Addressed a Parent Teacher Meeting for +2 Commerce and +2 Arts

Annual Result for Non Board Classes was declared on 28-03-09
ADIEU2009 (Farewell) was given for out going classes on 21-02-09. Students of Class XI Sc , Com, Arts presented a good show. Ms Sukhwinder Kaur gave Vote of thanks.
Republic day is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students of Primary Section and Middle section presented a great show. Principal Mr A S Gill hoisted the flag and distributed sweets to children.
National Level Youth Parliament was held at KV3 Amrtisar. Teams participated for the program are from : DMW Patiayala. KV JanakPuri Delhi, KV2 Jammu, KV Hoshangabad. Chief Guest was Mrs Kalawati.
Miss Anita Sood Hindi TGT is transfered to KV Nangal Bhur.
Mrs Gurjeet Kaur PRT is transferred to KV Chandigarh.
2 Days Bal Diwas programme of our Cluster is organised in our school under CMP. Students of KV DBN, KV1 ASR and KV3 ASR participated in various activities.
5 Days Teachers training (Computer) is being organised in the school and the teacher learn, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Internet during this session.
3 Days Short Duration Course started in KV3 ASR from 15-04-08

23-02-08: Farewell for class XII is well orgainsed by CLASS XI of the school.
22-02-08 : Birth day of Lord Baden Powell was celebrated with great zeal. Scouts and guides of school present a colorful cultural program and remember the lessons of Lord Powel.
On 5-Feb-08 : A career counseling session was taken by team of LOVELY PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTE JALANDHAR
Republic day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. Chief guest Col Nautiyal appreciated the cultural activities presented by students. He also gave prizes to the outstanding students throughout the year Mr A. S. Gill principal appreciated the NCC drills and Scout & Guide activities. At last Miss Sukhwinder kaur gave vote of thanks. Sweets were distributed in the proper manner.
New computer Lab was inaugurated by Mr S.C. Khajuria E.O. Jammu Region. Mr Yashdev Hada PGT Computer Science gave the details about the computer lab and internet facility to him.
A tour for SCIENCE CITY KAPURTHALA was organized for Student of Class XI to enrich their knowledge. Teachers Miss Nandini, Mr Sandeep Koli and Mr Yashdev Hada were the escorts. They give the detail explanation of science model during the excursion.
New year was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. All the student sung a song for the welcoming of the new year.
On 15th December, the day was celebrated as KV Foundation day. Junior Childeren (I - V) they enjoyed this very day on Excursion at Bagha Border. In the afternoon a programme was organised by students and teachers in which parents/guardian were invited. Students take oath in front of Principal to maintain integrity.
1. Four Days Tritya Sopan Testing Camp and Divisional Rally started form 08-12-07. Our Honourable Resources persons for the programme are reported on time , Principal A. S. Gill warm welcomed them. Our Chairman VMC Brig. V. Narayanan inaugurated the programme.
2. Cub Bulbul Utsav was celebrated in KV No3 Amritsar on 04-12-07 with full glamour in complete official manner in which competitions like Group song, Group dance, Solo Sing, One lagged race, Story telling, Drawing, Painting, Action Song , Jokes Competitions were held. Adventure activities were also organised. The teachers participated in this utsav are : Ms Reeta Mehta, Ms Rama Mehta, Mr J.P.N. Upadhyay, Mrs Jyoti Upadhyay, Ms Gurjeet Kaur.
3.N.C.C. Rally was held on 25th of November. It was inaugurated by our honourable principal A.S. Gill. Cadets were addressed by Harjinder Singh of Punjab Battalion and Hav. Din Dayal . Vote of thanks was given by NCC caretaker Mr Manoj Shrivstava of KV3 Amritsar.
The motto of Rally was Run For Fun, Stop Dowry & Bhruna Hatya
4. Our teacher PGT History (Mrs SwaranJeet Kaur) transferred to KV High Ground Chandigarh
