Registration and Admission is not restricted to the children
of Central Govt. Employees but open to all categories as per
rules and policy of Kendriya Vidayalya Sangathan.
Admission Schedule
Priorities in Admission
Admission is not restricted to the wards of Central Govt.
Employees but open to all. The following priorities are followed
in granting admission:
In Kendriya Vidyalaya
under Civil/Defence Sector: - Children of transferable Central Govt.
Employees including ex-servicemen;
- Children of non-transferable Central
Govt. Employees including ex-servicemen;
- Children of transferable and
non transferable employees of Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Institutes
of Higher Learning of the Government of India;
- Children of transferable
State Govt. Employees;
- Children of non transferable State Govt. Employees;
- Children
of transferable and non-transferable employees of Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector
Undertakings/ Institutes of Higher Learning of State Government;
- Children
from any other category.
Reservations
- 15% seats for S.C. and
7.5% for S.T. candidates are reserved in all freash admissions.
- 3% setas
are reserved for handicapped children, blind, orthopaedically handicapped and
hearing impaired etc.
- In case any of these quotas remain unfilled, the
seats would be filled up by admitting children of respective category corresponding
to the provision i) and ii) above and in case of non-availability of reserved
category of candidates by any other category.
Special Provision
- A few seats are reserved
for the children of dependent grand children of Hon'able Members of Parliament,
KVS employees, Ministry of HRD, Ministry of External Affairs and employees of
Research and Analysis wing.
- 2 children would be admitted at the discretion
of the chairman, VMC, over and above the class strength in any class except class
X and XII, if otherwise found eligible.
- Children of Central Govt. Employees
who die in harness would be admitted over and above the class strength.
General Instructions for Admission
Attested
copies of the following documents are required to be submitted along with the
registration form : a) For class I : Certificate of proof of
age issued by competent authority which includes : - Notified area committees
like Municipal Corporation
- Village Panchayat
- Military Hospital
- Service
records of Defence Personnel Do Part II order only.
b) For Other Classes:
The Date of Birth recorded in the Transfer Certificate issued by school recognised
by the State Education Departmentg will be accepted. c) A certificate that
child belongs to Sc/ST wherever applicable issued by competent authority. d)
A service certificate cum residence certificate. e) A certificate of retirement
in case of Ex-serviceman's children. f) Transfer Certificate i.r.o. of class
II & above.

For the Attention of Students
- On working days
and at school functions children are expected to wear the uniform prescribed for
the session. They must come to school neatly dressed, else they will be sent back
and be liable to disciplinary action.
 - Children
are strictly forbidden to go out of the school during the school hours without
permission of the Principal.
- Books, note-books, bags, tiffin box etc. should bear the
names and class of the owner. The school is not responsible
for any such thing that gets lost.
- Those who bring bicycle should keep it
properly locked at the fixed place.
- Once a student attends the school
he/she will not be allowed any short leave. In case of any emergency, the child
will be escorted home by the parent with the written permission of the principal.
- Class
monitors shall maintain the class discipline in the absence of the teacher. All
students should co-operate with the monitor in maintaining the discipline of the
class.
- No student shall go out of the class without class-pass.
- No
student shall loiter in the Vidyalaya abd disturb the teaching of other classes.
Free time is to be properly utilized in the Reading Room and Library.
